Boggia – A quick one tomorrow, an early one Friday

No Comments 15 August 2001

Hey Kids (Rock n Roll),

Come celebrate the scenic beauty that is Roxborough by stopping by
Gorgas Park tomorrow (8.16.01) at 7p for a mini “Roxborough Music
Festival” featuring short sets (probably about a half hour each) from
myself, Ben Arnold (I’ll be playing with Ben as well), 4 Way Street
(I’ll be playing with 4 Way Street as well) and Amy in Space (I will not
be playing with Amy in Space, I need to rest sometime).

Remember, it’s only a matter of time before Gary Barbera paves over the
park to make room for more of their damn cars, so let’s enjoy this
(truly) beautiful park while we can.

THIS IS AN ALL AGES EVENT.

Then, on Friday morning, I will be making an appearance on the Y-100
Morning Show. I’ll go on at around 9a, promote ‘Fidelity is the Enemy’
and sing a couple of songs. This should be exciting listening, because:

a) I can’t sing at 9 in the morning

and

b) I will not be awake during the interview.

You’ve been warned.

THIS IS ALSO AN ALL AGES EVENT (though I’m guessing it tops out around
35).

The Recap:

Thursday, 8.16.01 – 7p
Gorgas Park – Roxborough, PA
Ridge Avenue and Hermitage Sts.
(just past Roxborough High School)
with 4 Way Street, Ben Arnold and Amy in Space.

Friday, 8.17.01 – 9a
Y-100 Morning Show
with Limp Bizkit, Korn, Kid Rock and whoever the hell else they play.

Rock on (Oh, my soul),
Jim

PS: Jimmy Dean (James Dean)

Boggia Promo Appearances this week

No Comments 08 August 2001

Hi All,

In an effort to spread the word regarding my recent release of ‘Fidelity
is the Enemy’ AND this Saturday’s (8.11.01) gig at the Point, I’m
embarking on a gruelling, two-stop, one-city promotional blitz.

The Events:
TOWER IN-STORE PERFORMANCE:
Tomorrow (8.9.01) I will celebrate the 28th Anniversary of the end of
the Nixon era by giving a lunchtime performance at Tower Records on
Broad Street. I go on at 12:30p and I’ll play for about an hour. Now, I
could tell you a whole bunch of high-falutin’ reasons to go (yes, you
can buy the album there – yes, I will sign it – yes, it will probably be
illegible), but let’s cut to the chase: TOWER RECORDS HAS
AIR-CONDITIONING. So, see you there.

Thursday, 8.9.01 – 12:30p
Tower Records
100 S. Broad St. (Broad & Chestnut)
Philadelphia, PA
215.568.8001

NBC10 NEWS 10 AT 10 APPEARANCE:
Thanks to Pete Madden at AgileCat, I will be befuddling Delaware Valley
news mavens by appearing on NBC10′s News 10 at 10 this Friday (8.10.01).
I will be interviewed about the record, my music, the show at the Point,
and I will spend much to the interview repeating the number 10.

Friday, 8.10.01 – 10a
NBC10 News 10 at 10
WCAU-TV (I think it’s channel 10)

FINALLY:
Don’t forget about the show this Saturday at the Point. Remember, it’s
all ages AND BYOB, but also remember that it is NOT BYOB for ALL-AGES
(subtle, yet important). Also, remember to order your tix by Aug. 9
(that’s tomorrow) to get your free CD of stuff you don’t have.

Saturday, 8.11.01 – 9p
The Point
880 W. Lancaster Ave. – Bryn Mawr, PA

Advanced tickets at the Point or online at: http://www.ticketweb.com

That, mercifully, is all for now.
