Hi Friends,

I am returning to New York City this Saturday, 12.8.01 to play a solo
set as part of the International Pop Overthrow Festival. The show is at
12:30p (SHARP!) and takes place at Arlene Grocery.

Some things worth mentioning:

* That’s 12:30PM, as in “during the day when the sun is out”. Some of
you may call it afternoon. I prefer to call it early mid morning.

* That’s SHARP! as in “I start at 12:30:00 EST precisely.” It takes a
great deal of precision to Overthrow Pop Internationally, so please take
note.

* That’s Arlene Grocery as in “not Arlene’s Grocery”. Yes, It IS the
place that you and I and everyone else calls Arlene’s Grocery, but
apparently it’s Arlene Grocery. I think what happened is that the owner
joined a religious sect and was told to renounce all possessions, but
then either got confused or had a change of heart and instead renounced
all possessives. It happens.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Sidewalk Cafe last month. I hope
to see a lot of you there Saturday.
