4WS: Hot Fun in the Summertime

No Comments 13 August 2002

Hi Everyone,

Having kind of recently seen the movie ‘Signs’, I have to ask this
question:
What kind of person are you? Are you the kind that thinks that
this new heat wave happening just as 4 Way Street are about
to make two outdoor appearances is juck bad luck, a
coincidence?
Or, do you believe that there are no coincidences. That surely
this must be a sign from some manevolent force that 4 Way
Street and its minions of fans are being tortured for some
unspeakable sin?

Well, either way, come sweat it out with us in the heat
with not one, but two 4 Way Street outdoor performances.
Tuesday night, we’re at Eagleview Concerts on the Square in
Exton, PA. Wednesday night, we hit Jersey wirh some love at the
Sundown Music Series in Haddon Heights, NJ. Both shows start
at 8p.

CB’s Gallery - NYC - Thursday, 8p

No Comments 12 August 2002

Hi Everyone,

I just woke up from a strange dream about my upcoming gig in
NYC at CB’s Gallery this Thursday (8.15.02) at 8p.

Mama Cass Elliot got up and sang “Dream a Little Dream” while
eating a sandwich with no unfortunate consequences. Roy
Orbison and I dueted on “In Dreams” and he insisted we try on
each other’s glasses. Charlie Rich sang “The Most Beautiful Girl
in the World” and . . . no, wait . . . that was just on the radio when
the alarm went off.

Oh, and the best thing about the dream is that you were all there.

I hope that last part comes true.

The Recap:
Thursday, 8.15.02 - 8p
CB’s 313 Gallery
313 Bowery - NYC

The last CB’s gig was a really special night. Thanks to everyone
who came out. Hope to see you again on Thursday.

Peace,
Jim

New poll for boggiamusic

No Comments 07 August 2002

Enter your vote today! A new poll has been created for the
boggiamusic group:

I made 4 special cds of otherwise
unreleased material that I gave away to
folks who pre-ordered tickets to my
shows at the Point over the last year.
(If you’re not sure of the discs I’m
talking about, check out the
Discography page on www.jimboggia.com)
Each time, I received emails asking if
people could buy them and, up until
now, that hasn’t really been possible.
I’m now looking into the possibility of
selling a limited quantity of each of
these cds. They would most likely be
priced at 7 dollars. Please check off
all answers that apply what you think
about this.

Answering this poll is not a commitment
to purchase a CD. Thanks a lot. I’ll
let you know how it turns out.

o I would be interested in buying Tragical Blistery Lure
o I would be interested in buying Transistorized 220
o I would be interested in buying JPGR
o I would be interested in buying 4 Sketches
o I would be okay with the discs being in CD-R format
o I would be not okay with the discs being in CD-R format
o I already have one or more of these discs and would be upset if they wind up
being available
o I already have one or more of these discs and would not be upset if they
wind up being available
