2006 COMES MARCHING IN AT THE SAINT - ASBURY PARK, NJ - 1.05.06:
I hope everyone has a great New Year’s (how ’bout coming out to 4 Way Street’s Bash at the Painted Bride?).?
After you’ve imbibed and survived and the New Year’s arrived (and you’ve had a few days to nurse your wounds), remember that 2006 is going to be another year to go see great live music or, at the very least, see me perform some live music.
First up in 2006 - I’m taking part in the Winter Music Festival held at The Saint in Asbury Park, NJ.?
The evening starts at 7:30p with a roundtable discussion on “The Future of Rock and Roll.” I will most likely take time to make a case for Rock’s past and why our best move would be to pool our money and buy a used time machine and return to 1965.
At 9p, Al Muzer interviews? . . . me. Learn my darkest secrets such as which eye am I blind in and how old am I, exactly.*
I’ll play a solo set at 10p. It will include the world premiere of at least 1 new song and the New Jersey premiere of at least 2 others, plus a lot of what I like to refer to as your all-time favorites, but which you might know better as “oh, that song again?”.
