Don’t Fear the Goldhawk and Stuff for Your iPod.

THE GOLDHAWK - HOBOKEN, NJ - WEDNESDAY, 2.28.07 - 8P:
So, based on last week’s Goldhawk attendance numbers, it appears either one of two things happened:
1 - Since it was Ash Wednesday, a lot of people decided to give up Jim Boggia for Lent . . . or
2 - News of my cold spread faster than a virus (bacteria?) and people stayed away to avoid getting sick.
So, I wanted to send this missive to assure all my fan(s) that:
2 - My cold has gone so there is absolutely no danger that coming out to the Goldhawk this Wednesday night (2.28.07) will make you ill (unless you drink too much, which is really none of my business) . . . and
1 - While I’m flattered that, in a roundabout way, what you’re saying is that I give you enjoyment - thus the Lentel abstinence - we both know that you just figured it would be easier than giving up chocolate, and should I really have to pay the price for that (also, wouldn’t it just be more healthy to give up all that excessive drinking we just found out about in the above item #2)?
Also - as if you needed more reason to come - we’ll be celebrating George Harrison’s birthday with some Harrisongs sprinkled in to the mix.
Also - and frankly at this point I’m getting a bit impatient with you - Rachel Loshak comes across the Hudson (this may be technically inaccurate, I’m still weak from the cold and I’m using Wikipedia as a reference) from NYC to open the show.
I guess what I’m saying here is: please come out.

THE BIG ANNOUNCEMENT - THE BOGGIAMUSIC PODCAST IS FINALLY HERE:
I told you a while back that I had some news, here goes: I’m really happy to finally be able to announce the dawning of a new age - I have a podcast.
I’ll be releasing previously unreleased material from the Boggiamusic Archives (they’re vast!) every other Sunday. I may, in time, create original programming that originates and has it’s origins on the podcast.
This Sunday (2.25.07) features the live version of ‘Wah Wah’ from the Harrisongs benefit concert in December, 2001.
This is Episode #3 (I held off announcing it ’cause I wanted to make sure it was all working okay). Episode #1 is my version of ‘Somebody to Love’ that is sweeping America like a killer tomato. There’s an Episode #2, too - but you’ll have to go check it out for yourself.
How you get Boggiamusic into your pod:
You can pop the following bit of intergooble into your favorite podcatcher (yes, iTunes is a podcatcher, too) and each episode will magically appear as if from Steve Jobs’ secret lair every couple of weeks:
http://boggiamusic.podOmatic.com/rss2.xml
Confused? No worries. You can click on the link below and it will take you to the Boggiamusic website, where you can download individual episodes or use easy 1 click buttons to subscribe through iTunes or a bunch of other podgrabbing machines.
I’d R E A L L Y appreciate it if you’d subscribe and leave me some feedback on the site (there’s a Comments link for each Episode) to let me know how you like it.
The “Link Below” mentioned above.
Peace,
Jim
