SATURDAY, 9.08.07 - 7P - 2ND ANNUAL BENEFIT FOR CONNIE WESTERFER:
I’m playing a house concert for a good cause with some other fine folks next Saturday (9.08.07) at 7p. I’ll be taking part in the 2nd annual benefit for Connie Westerfer to help raise money for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. Fine folks J.D. Malone and Carsie Blanton will open the show.
There aren’t many shows on the Fall calendar right now, so this a chance to get a Boggia fix and do some good as well.

Steel City get ‘em while they last:

FRIDAY, 8.17.07 - 8:30P - STEEL CITY COFFEEHOUSE - PHOENIXVILLE, PA:
A funny anecdote from my past:
SOMEONE ELSE: Well, I kinda like Heart.
ME: Heart? Man, they sold-out.
SOMEONE ELSE: Really? Are they playing around here?
All of which is to ever-so-subliminally imply that my shows at the fab Steel City Coffeehouse (next one on Friday, 8.17.07 at 8:30p) tend to wind up selling out in advance, so the time to get your tix is now.
To make sales even more brisk, The Electric Farm open the show. Joey Mutis and co. always elicit a “wow, what a great song” or five (that’s five songs, not five people saying “wow, what a great song” - and I’m also not saying that they only have five great songs, although really, how greedy can you be when it comes to songs - anyway, it was a compliment), so be on time.
