Asbury Park, Steel City and UK plans

Hi Everyone, Just a couple of shows to let you know about in August. Shows are getting scarce, particularly in the US. I’m definitely pulling back from playing a lot of shows, so get yours while they last! There’s also a bit of news on my upcoming UK Tour and a chance for UK fans to have some house concert action. Read all about it . . . SATURDAY, 8.04.12 – 8p* THE SAINT ASBURY PARK, NJ An early show at The Saint. Hey New York: This is as close as I’ll be to NYC the rest of this year, why not take a little trip and fill up on some Boggiamusic? Hey New Jersey: You never know which state I’ll decide to be done playing in for the year next, so maybe come on out and catch the show this time. The Recap: Saturday, 8.04.12 – 8p* JIM BOGGIA The Saint 601 Main Street – Asbury Park, PA $13 Adv. / $15 DoS. 21+ * Doors at 6p. Music starts at 6:20. Jim plays around 8p. Get Tix SATURDAY 08.25.12 – 8p STEEL CITY PHOENIXVILLE, PA The end of summer blowout with Sandra Bae opening. Can it possibly top last November’s Steel City show with Sandra? I wouldn’t risk missing it. The Recap: Saturday, 8.25.12 – 8p JIM BOGGIA Steel City 203 Bridge Street – Phoenixville, PA $16 Adv. / $18 DoS. ALL AGES. Sandra Bae opens. Get Tix UK TOUR: OCT. / NOV. 2012 HOUSE CONCERTS AVAILABLE Blighty, how I’ve missed you! I followed up my most successful UK trip back in 2010 by failing to get there in 2011 completely, Let’s make up for that. Start marking your calendars now. I’ll be in the UK from October 10th through November 7th. Shows and details announced soon. In the meantime, I want to make available to my UK fans the opportunity to host a house concert. It’s all the rage here in the good ‘ol US of A (you know, that place where your new friend, Mitt, comes from) and the few I’ve played in the UK have been just as rageful. It’s a night of music and friends and great memories and you don’t even have to leave your home. If you’d like to find out more, you can contact the trusty okaybabe AT aol DOT com and tell Jack you want some Boggia in your living room. Also, here’s a relatively humorous and informative description I wrote up about my house concerts.

Speaking of the UK, it sounds like they are kicking off the closing ceremonies with Waterloo Sunset. Maybe they can use your instructional to help the audience sing a long? 😉 Looking forward to your next Philly area gig, take care and hope all is well.
