During Aidan's treatment for Ewing's Sarcoma, Musicians from all over the world sent him videos of well wishes and songs they performed just for him through the Songs For Aidan project. These songs made Aidan feel incredibly special (like a bit of a celebrity) and never failed to put a smile on his face. For Aidan's parents the project showed just how beautiful and generous the human spirit can be as so many talented artists lovingly rallied around their son.
In an effort to give back, the Songs For Aidan project will be hosting a live event to raise money for the Music Therapy, Art Therapy and Pet Friends programs at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
This event will feature live music from Brandon Schott, Tracy Grammer, and Jim Boggia, Wine tasting, hor d'oeuvres, chinese auction, and door prizes.
