Marshall Crenshaw plus Jim Boggia

240 Southern Boulevard
Our annual Audience Appreciation Concert features two brilliant vanguards of the jangly, melodic, retro-Pop movement, Marshall Crenshaw (Someday, Someway) and Jim Boggia.
Marshall is the consummate gourmet of pop culture. He played Buddy Holly in the film "La Bamba" and played John Lennon in the stage production of Beatlemania. His quirky, eclectic songs (including his classics "Someday Someway" and "The Usual Thing") draw inspiration from Motown, FM rock (he wrote the book Hollywood Rock, a history of rock music in film), and even Vegas lounge acts (his rousing live shows often include old Sammy Davis songs, as well as early George Harrison and of course lots of his own originals).
Jim describes himself as "Your One-Stop Shop for Yester-Pop!" His enduring love for the music of the 1970's shows itself in his hits, including "Glory" (#1 Billboard), in his latest album, Misadventures in Stereo, which was mastered at Abbey Road Studios, and in his jaw-droppingly soulful fingerpicked guitar version of "She's Leaving Home."
To thank our audience for another remarkable Sanctuary season, tickets are only $20, and free for Pick Six Subscribers.
