Going to Gotham

No Comments 10 July 2002

Hi Everybody,

Commissioner Gordon has turned on the Bat Signal, so I’ll be making a
couple of appearances in Gotham (that’s New York City, for those of you
who are Batman lingo challenged).

TONIGHT (7.10.02), 4 Way Street takes on Bleeker Street as we descend
into the Bitter End. We go on at 8p SHARP, so be there early so you
don’t cut yourself. Come see us perform in the exact spot where Bob
Dylan made Phil Ochs cry.

Then, next Tuesday (7.16.02) I return to NYC for a solo show at CB’s 313
Gallery. I hit the stage at 9p and I’ll play immediately after that if I
haven’t broken my hand. Come watch me perform approximately 37 feet from
the exact spot where Debbie Harry made Lester Bangs, um, let’s say very
excited.

The Recap:
Wednesday, 7.10.02 : 8p sharp (Ouch!)

Jim’s ‘Cohen’ back to LA, but 1st a Bitter End for 4 Way Street

No Comments 02 April 2002

Hi Everyone,

In the hopes of ending the longstanding East Coast/West Coast feud
amongst the Rap/Hip Hop community, I am engaging in shuttle diplomacy by
playing shows in NYC and LA. Think of me as a musical Anthony Zini.

L O S A N G E L E S
I am returning to Genghis Cohen on 4.10.02, going on around 8p (PST). My
last show at Genghis was a blast. I hope if you were there, you’ll come
out again and bring some friends, too. Oh, and since I don’t drive, when
you see that lone guy walking in LA next week, honk . . . it’s me.

N E W Y O R K
But before I leave for LA, I’ll be playing at the Bitter End with 4 Way
Street (Ben, Scott, Joseph) this Thursday (4.4.02). We go on at 9:30p
(EST). This will be 4WS’s first NYC appearance this year, and the first
ever NYC appearance where you’ll actually be able to hear all of us.

Anyone who comes to BOTH of these shows gets a free copy of ‘Fidelity is
the Enemy’. I will also apply for a restraining order. Stop following
me.
