A Benefit, An Appel and a Point

Three big gigs in the next week and a half.

Friday, 5.31.02 National Hospice Benefit <br>4 WAY STREET. We join Eric Bazilian
and Uncle G at the Colonial Theatre
in Phoenixville, PA for what should be a great night of music. Doors at
9p, we go on ’round 11p.

Saturday, 6.1.02 Appel Farm Festival
4 WAY STREET. We join Jackson Browne, Jonatha Brooke and a host of
others for a great day outdoors. We have 2 sets, one at 11:30a (that’s
morning, folks) and another at 2p.

Friday, 6.7.02 The Point
JIM BOGGIA. I headline two shows at the Point. Tickets are going fast,
so buy yours early either at the Point or online at www.ticketweb.com .
If you do it before June 3rd, you’ll get a FREE cd at the show of 4
original recordings of songs otherwise unavailable. These include ‘3

Hi Kids,

GRAPE STREET PUB: 5.24.02
Get a good night’s sleep on Thursday, because this Friday (5.24.02) me
and the boys will be playing on a really great bill at the Grape Street
Pub. We go on around 11p, but come early to see David Cope (8p
Upstairs), McGowan (9p), Ben Arnold (10p) and then stay late for
Stargazer Lily after us at midnight.

This is probably the best line up of bands that I’ve played in a L O N G
time. Everybody’s really good and the evening makes sense musically. Do
yourself a favor and come for the whole thing.

THE POINT: 6.7.02
I also want to give you all a heads up about my upcoming shows at the
Point on 6.7.02. There will be 2 shows (7p & 10p).
If you order advance tix through Ticketweb ( www.ticketweb.com ) or buy
them at the Point before 6.1.02 you’ll get a 4 song giveaway cd of home

Hi Friends,

This Saturday (2.23.02) it’s 2 shows 2 at the Point. While you can’t be
in two places at once, I can be at one place twice, so the shows are
conveniently timed to occur at 7p and 10p.

You may ask, will these shows be different from each other? Well,
somewhat. They won’t be as different as night and day, but they will be
at least as different as 7p and 10p, that is to say, I’ll at least wear
something different for each show.

You query, what can you tell us about the free cd? Thanks for asking.
For those who order tickets in advance by 2.20.02 (by either stopping in
at the Point or going to www.ticketweb.com online), you will receive a
one time only giveaway disc (which this time will be given out twice,
since there’s two shows, but that’s really putting too fine a point on
it).

This one’s called “JPGR” and features a John tune, a Paul tune, a George
tune, and a Ringo tune.

Future discs may/will include:
* Jim Boggia has Nothing to Say (The Instrumentals) and
* The Jesse Honig Orchestra presents the Music of Jim Boggia
